ICI Statement on Fair Access to Investment Research Act

Washington, DC, June 24, 2016—Investment Company Institute General Counsel David Blass made the following statement on the introduction of S. 3092, the Fair Access to Investment Research Act, by Senators Dean Heller (R-NV) and Gary Peters (D-MI) today.

"We welcome the legislation introduced by Senators Heller and Peters to increase the amount of information available to investors about exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The Fair Access to Investment Research Act will remove barriers and allow important broker research on ETFs to proliferate."
