ICI Condemns Violence in Capital

Washington, DC; January 6, 2021—Investment Company Institute President and CEO Eric J. Pan issued the following statement on the violent occupation of the US Capitol today:

“We condemn these acts of violence in our nation’s capital. Our elected leaders must call for a swift, clear end to the violence so that Congress can fulfill its Constitutional duties and our nation can continue toward the peaceful transition of power to President-elect Biden on January 20.”
